Investigational New Drug (IND) application is a crucial stage in drug research and development prior to the administering of any new drug or biological product to humans. It is also a key step in the transformation of basic research results.

Our Centre is developing Chinese Herbal Medicine (CHM)-based new pharmaceutical drugs with the CHM formulas that are supported by evidence-based preclinical and clinical researches. It is based on the requirements of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA)in China, the Chinese Medicine Council of HKSAR and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The research targets patients’ demand worldwide.
